Most demos showcasing car technologies look identical; technical and mundane. To demonstrate its advanced suite of car technologies, Ford decided to create a different series that showcases these sometimes complicated technologies in a way that’s more relatable and easier to understand.

We took car technology out of the car to solve real-life problems. Like helping couples sleep better in bed. Inspired by the Lane Keeping Aid technology found in the new Focus, we created a bed that gently moves each partner to their side of the bed allowing for a much better sleep.

The bed was launched on Valentine’s Day and became an instant viral sensation. And while car demos get little traction, the lane keeping bed made the news in shows and got headlines around the world giving Ford massive earned media.
